Why a reprint?
Because we’ve sold out, or are close to selling out! A reprint not only allows us to restock for the foreseeable future, but also allows us to make minor corrections the community has requested.

What's different?
Each of the three books remain largely the same. There are a few corrected stats in Savage Foes, a few clarifications and simplifications in the GM Handbook, and some balance changes in the Player’s Guide (many around choosing items from the Hero’s Journey table rather than rolling, and around adding steps to skills rather than starting with a set die type). Do I need to buy the book again?
Nope! We’re going to reprint the original three books and the boxed set, this is just an opportunity for anyone who wants the book to be a part of it and get them before they’re available at retail. As with all our reprints, all changes will be available as a free download on PEGinc.com. If you missed the book, or lost one, or just want the convenience of all the updates in print you’re welcome to join in!

When the updates take effect?
When the 2nd printing books begin distribution the PDFs for those books get updated on PEGinc.com and DriveThruRPG.com for those who already own them. At the same time the Updates file on PEGinc.com gets refreshed, and then any changed stats and rules are considered official. Until then, play groups can decide to implement the rules previewed here as they like, but the current printing stands as the “rules as written.”

What about shipping?
You will be charged for shipping in the BackerKit pledge manager after the campaign ends, close to when the physical products are arriving for delivery.
International Pledges
We’ve worked hard to make connections with regional shippers in UK (also covering the EU), Australia, and Canada to keep costs down. These partners handle filing most customs/ VAT/GST etc. We’ll share the rates and details for these areas closer to the time for shipping.
For all other locations internationally, shipping rates can vary. If you would like our staff to check your rate, please email us at [email protected]. There’s always a chance we can work out a better deal to, say, Mexico, than what we’re charging for South Africa!

What if I do not make all of the payments in the BackerKit Pay Over Time payment plan?
We’re thrilled that BackerKit offers the option to pay in installments on all Pledge Levels over $150.

Will there be any Achievements or Stretch Goals?
Nope. This is a simple reprint campaign. We do not intend to offer any stretch goals (what BackerKit calls Achievements) for this project.

Why can't I pledge for just the PDFs?
There are no digital-only Pledge Levels for this campaign. Anyone who pledges receives the equivalent PDF(s) for no additional charge.
If you want a PDF of any of these products you can buy them right now at https://peginc.com/savage-settings/rifts/
The current Revised PDFs will be automatically updated to the Revised 2nd Printing closer to delivery to match the new books. You just need to look for the notification and download the file again to get the new version!

When do I pay shipping?
We will charge shipping later, about two months before fulfillment begins. You will receive a new survey with information on shipping charges, and we will post a Backer Update to let everyone know those surveys are out.
Backers will have approximately a month to pay for their shipping before we lock the Backer Manager down for export to our fulfillment partners.

How do I upgrade my pledge?
Since we send out PDFs ahead of fulfillment, we cannot allow backers to downgrade their pledges. As such, only the $500 - All-In Megabundle pledge is automatically available as an upgrade for all appropriate pledge levels.
For backers who wish to upgrade to the $100 - Adventure Boxed Set or $300 - All The Books pledge levels, please email [email protected] with your BackerKit information and desired new pledge level. They will manually upgrade your pledge, so please give our team three business days to respond to all requests.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Pinnacle would like to honor all pledges, but after the campaign fulfills, we will no longer hold stock in reserve for incomplete pledges. If reward items are unavailable, we will provide a store credit instead of the original pledge item.
